Do you have a bucket list? If yes, what’s on the top of the list? What are the things that you have yet to cross out?

I don’t have one. But I love to travel and, thanks to fencing, I’ve been able to visit some truly amazing places. There are still several countries and cities that are calling my name though. Portugal is one of them.

What’s your favorite movie and why?

Snatch is one of my all-time favorites. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, I find it just as funny and gripping as I did the first time.

Who’s your role model and why?

Olympic champion Tibor Pézsa. I’m very lucky to have him as one of my coaches. I’ve learned a lot from him, and he really helped me find my fencing style. I have tremendous respect for him, and he never stops teaching me new things.

Do you have any superstitions? If yes, what are they?

I used to have loads of superstitions when I was a child, but not anymore. I got fed up one day, gave up all of them and never looked back.

How do you mentally prepare for an important competition?

With the help of a psychologist, as it’s a key part of the preparation process.

What kind of music do you like?

Anything, really. Pop, rock, folk, what have you.

What sport or sports do you like the most?

Fencing, tennis, ski jumping, water polo and handball.
